Kate Siegel is an American actress and screenwriter who was born on August 9, 1982, in Silver Spring, Maryland. She first made her onscreen debut in the film "The Curse of The Black Dahlia" which released on January 23, 2007. Siegel went on to star in "Hacia La Oscuridad" which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 28, 2007. She went on to appear with co-stars Ruby Dee and Chelsea Handler in "Steam" as well as a short film directed by Ted Collins called "Knocked".
In 2009, Siegel appeared in her first television role as Cheryl in "Ghost Whisperer". The following year, she appeared in the American crime series "Numb3rs" as Rachel Hollander as well as an episode of the crime drama "Castle" and a thriller film called "Wedding Day". Siegel has found no shortage of acting work and her roles have increased in prominence over the last several years. In 2013, she appeared in a film called "Oculus" which was written and directed by her future husband, Mike Flanagan. "Oculus" premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2013 and released the following year. Siegel married Flanagan in 2016 and the pair has a son and a daughter together.
