He is a <a href="/biography/ken-block">member</a> of Monster World Rally Team, which is also known as the Hoonigan Racing Division. Ken had sold his ownership of the DC shoes which was bittersweet for him. On one hand, he was sad to let go of something so dear to him. He had founded the company during a skateboarding’s big boom. When skateboarding was still on the fringes of society, Block took a chance on the sport.

He sponsored a young skater named <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Dyrdek">Rob Dyrdek</a> which was the beginning of a lifelong business relationship and friendship.
