Kenneth Bruce Gorelick is a smooth jazz saxophonist from the United States. His album Duotones, released in 1986, was a commercial success. Kenny G is one of the best-selling artists, with over 75 million albums sold worldwide.
Kenneth Bruce Gorelick was born in Seattle, Washington. His mother was from Saskatchewan, Canada. When he heard a performance on The Ed Sullivan Show, he became interested in the saxophone and began playing a Buffet Crampon alto when he was ten years old in 1966.
Kenny G went to Whitworth Elementary School in Seattle, Sharples Junior High School (now Kurose Middle School), Franklin High School, and the University of Washington.
