At the age of seven, Laura Quinn began her dance training at the Baltimore County Youth Ballet. There, she performed in various productions, including The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She progressed from a beginner role as a snowflake to performing lead roles such as Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Dew Drop. Laura continued her formal training at the Baltimore School for the Arts, a prestigious institution known for cultivating talent in the performing arts.
During her summer breaks, she studied at internationally recognized institutions such as the Kirov Academy of Ballet and the Miami City Ballet School. After graduating, Laura enrolled in Miami City Ballet's pre-professional program to further sharpen her technique and experience in classical and contemporary dance.
Laura Quinn has built a successful career as a dancer and instructor. She has taught at Millennium Dance Complex for the past six years and is also on the teaching faculty at Edge Performing Arts Center. Laura Quinn is married to NFL linebacker A.J. Hawk. The couple met during their college sophomore year and began dating in their junior year. Their relationship progressed quickly; they became boyfriend and girlfriend within a month and were married in a civil ceremony on July 24, 2006. A formal wedding ceremony followed on March 17, 2007, in Dublin, Ohio.
They have two children: a daughter, Lennon Noel, born on December 4, 2010, and a son, Hendrix Knight, born in January 2013.
Laura is also the sister of Brady Quinn, a former NFL quarterback who is currently working as a sports analyst and commentator.
