Lisa Lerer is a political reporter who previously served as a correspondent for 2016 Presidential Candidate Hilary Clinton on the campaign trail. Lisa Lerer was born in West Hartford, CT. Lisa grew up split between the two states of New York and Pennsylvania. She is the little girl of two authors, and as such, she has said she generally felt that she would have a career that included writing.

Lisa Lerer's first massive role out of University was as an online journalist with "The National Journal." She remained with that organization for one year before accepting a proposal as a columnist for the American Lawyer Magazine.
