<p>Luke Kuechly was selected ninth overall by the Carolina Panthers in the 2012 NFL Draft. He made an immediate impact in his rookie season, leading the NFL in tackles. His outstanding performance earned him the Associated Press 2012 Defensive Rookie of the Year Award, making him the third-youngest recipient in the award’s history.</p>
