Michael Buble is a Canadian singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor who was born on September 9, 1975, in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Buble and his two younger sisters were raised in the Roman Catholic faith. He attended Seaforth Elementary School and Cariboo Hill Secondary School. Buble said in an interview on the "Oprah Winfrey" show that he dreamed of becoming a famous singer since he was two-years-old. Growing up Buble loved to play ice hockey and also wanted to be a professional hockey player for the Vancouver Canucks. Around the age of 13, Buble's family noticed he had a great talent for singing when they heard him a Christmas song sing during a car ride home. When he was 14, he began working during summers as a commercial fisherman which he continued with his father for six years. By the age of 16, Buble was singing in nightclubs and in 1996 he made his first television appearance in "Death Game" as a Drome Groupie.
He also appeared in two episodes of "The X-Files" as a submarine crewman but he was uncredited. By 2000, Buble's career as a singer was taking off and he soon signed to 143 Records label. His first self-titled album was released on February 11, 2003, and he has grown into a singing sensation with numerous albums and hits under his belt. Buble married Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato in March of 2011 in Buenos Aires. The couple has two sons and a daughter.
