Peter Krause was born on August 12, 1965, in Minnesota. He earned a degree in English Literature from Gustavus Adolphus College and went on to receive a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from New York University’s Graduate Acting Program at the Tisch School of the Arts.
Krause began his television career in the early 1990s with various guest roles.
