Phillip Dorsett was born on January 5, 1993 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For his primary education, he attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in his hometown of Fort Lauderdale. College Career

For his college football stint, Dorsett played at Miami University from 2011 to 2014. As a freshman in 2011, he appeared in 12 games and recorded 14 receptions for 147 yards and also grabbed a touchdown. In 2012, he played in 12 games with 10 starts and led his squad with 58 receptions for 842 yards and four touchdowns.

Pro Career

When he entered the NFL in 2015, Dorsett was drafted 29th overall by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2015 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, he ended with just 18 receptions for 225 yards and only one touchdown.
