Background
Siân Gibson was born on July 30, 1976 in Mold, United Kingdom. Siân’s father was employed as a builder. Her mother stayed at home to raise the family as a housewife. When she was young, Siân did not consider herself to be an arty child because she felt that she didn’t know how to express herself.
She built up the courage to join the local youth theatre to get rid of her stage fright. She went on to study performing arts at Salford University. At the college, she met fellow students and future collaborators, Peter Kay and Steve Edge.

Siân Gibson is married to her husband, Ian Gibson. Ian works as a gasfitter. They have a daughter together named Gracie. Their beautiful daughter was born in 2013.
