Born on September 10, 1959, Stacey Nelkin is an American film and television actress known for her work in the late 1970s and 1980s. She began gaining recognition with her role as Bonnie Sue Chisholm in the CBS western miniseries The Chisholms in 1979. However, the role was later recast and played by Delta Burke when the series resumed in 1980.
Nelkin gained further visibility for her performance in the 1982 science fiction horror film Halloween III: Season of the Witch, in which she portrayed Ellie Grimbridge, one of the central characters. Her performance contributed to the cult following the film later developed.
Stacey Nelkin was originally cast in Blade Runner as a sixth Nexus-6 replicant, part of a group of androids who escape captivity and travel to Earth. However, due to budget constraints, the character was written out early in the production process. Although her role did not make it into the final film, Nelkin’s screen test for the character “Pris” is included in the special features of the collector's edition DVD of Blade Runner.
