Susan Neher is a former American child star who was born on February 22, 1959. She became interested in acting when she was a young child and is best known for playing the role of Joanie Cunningham on the hit 1970's show "Happy Days". Neher appeared in the show's first iteration as a segment of the anthology series "Love, American Style". Neher's acting career was short-lived despite the success of "Happy Days" and she was only active between the years of 1967 to 1974. Neher began her acting career in a 1968 appearance in the show "Family Affair" as Lana in the episode titled "The Latch Key Kid".
During her nearly ten-year span in acting, Neher appeared in the show "To Rome With Love" where she played Penny Endicott from 1969 to 1971. After "To Rome With Love", Neher appeared in the show "Getting Together" as Jennifer Conway from 1971 to 1972. She also appeared in the hit show "The Partridge Family" as Gwen in two episodes, one in 1972 and another in 1973. She concluded her acting career with a single appearance in the 1974 show "Paul Sand in Friends and Lovers" where she played Audrey Ackerman.
