Tamzin Merchant has performed in a wide variety of scenarios, including 9 films, 10 television programs among films and series, 3 music videos and 5 plays.
Her first appearance was in 2005, on the film “Pride and Prejudice”, directed by Andrew Black, where she impersonates Georgiana Darcy. On the same year, she participated as Margot Durell on the TV film “My Family and Other Animals”.

Another 2 projects got her busy that year, with small roles on 2 TV films: “The Good Housekeeping Guide” where she played Sara Fox, and “Casualty 1906” as Probationer Eastwood.
In 2007 she went back to school, setting her acting career on hold. Despite this, she still made time to get into Groove Armada’s video feat Mutya Buena at the "Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control)". And 2 plays had her performing: “Hay Fever”, playing Jackie, exhibited on the Queens' College, Cambridge Theater; and “Darling You Were Marvelous” where she played Sister 3, at the ADC Theatre.
2009 paid her efforts with a permanent role as Catherine Howard in the TV series “The Tudors”. This same year she played Alice Davies on the film “Princess Kaiulani”, written and directed by Marc Forby. During the same time she was playing at “The Tudors”, Tamzin got into 3 plays at the ADC Theatre: “Breakfast at night” as part of the chorus; “The 24hr Plays” as part of the production team and “Cigarettes and Chocolate” playing Gemma.
