Tracy Byrnes is a professional American television anchor, specialized in business news as well as a journalist and also an accountant. She has worked for the Fox Business Network. Tracy is currently 51 years old and she was born on the 3rd of March back in 1964. Her home town is Duluth which is located in the state of Minnesota in the United States of America. Evidently she is a multi talented person with a quite extensive and useful skills set.
Education and early life
As far as her early life goes, she was born in a family of Sicilian-American origin. Despite being born in Duluth in the state of Minnesota, she was raised in Northern New Jersey. She has always demonstrated thorough interest towards the business and economics and as such she managed to graduate the Lehigh University back in 1992 and she got her bachelor’s degree in Economics. She also got two English Minors.
Immediately after she was done with her studies, Tracy went on to pursue her career. She started working for the accounting firm of Ernst & Young LLP and she occupied the position of a senior accountant. However, she quickly understood that if she is to advance in her career she would have to further her education. Thus, she went to the Rutgers University and got her master’s degree in accounting. The University is a specifically designated institution which focuses on management.
Professional career
In 1997 Tracy began to freelance for a living. She did financial journalism as a business columnist. She has written for a variety of different papers and websites such as the WSJ.com and the New York Post. Interestingly and impressive enough, her work began to appear on platforms like the SmartMoney and on the CBS special Marketwatch.
Before she started to freelance however, she spent four years writing for the website of TheStreet.com and she worked alongside famous Dagen McDowell. She has also released business oriented book called “Break Down Your Money: How to Get Beyond the Noise to Profit in the Markets”, which was considered to be rather successful.
Her career doesn’t really end with journalism as she also anchored a few panels on the Fox Business Network. She covered the stocks and investment news programs called Cashin’ In, Your World with Neil Cavuto and Bulls & Bears. She also used to host the FBN Live at 1 P.M. She managed to join the Fox Business Network and began working as a reporter back in 2007 after she has been a recurring guest for two years ever since 2005. However, she is no longer with the network as she left back in March, 2015.
Personal Life
Apart from being on the Fox News, Tracy married her husband back in 1997. Unfortunately, their married life obviously didn’t go so well because their relationship began to fall apart ultimately leading to a divorce in the year of 2005. Nevertheless, she is a happy mother of three children – two girls and one boy. You can follow a lot of what’s going with her personal life and her future career plans on her profile on Twitter.
