Willis attended Wylde Green Primary School before attending John Willmott School in Sutton Coldfield. At age 17, Willis began pursuing a career in modeling and saw major success resulting in appearances in major magazines such as "Marie Claire", "Elle", "Vogue", "GAP", and "Chanel".
She went on to make her television debut in 2002 when she presented for a variety of MTV shows including "CD:UK", "This Morning", and "Loose Women". By 2007, Willis was presenting for the ITV2 spin-off series "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! NOW!"
