According to his biography, Eric Braeden was born in the city of Hans-Jorg Gudegast of Bredenbek in Gemany and he moved to live in America in 1959. He went to the University of Montana in the city of Missoula in USA and he was on the Track and Field Scholarship, in Discus, Javelin and shotput. His father was a mayor of his birth city. Eric Braeden has been able to get many credits for his movies and TV acting for over 2 decades. In 1960s, he was in the Combat! Which is the long running TV series about WWII drama and he was playing as a German Soldier. He appeared in the film known as Morituri together with Yul Brynner and Marlon Brando. He was a guest star in The Man From U.N.C.L.E where he was T.H.R.U.S.H agent called Mr Oakes and he was in The Discotheque Affair in its episode 5 in the season two.

In the year 1966, he was the guest star as Luftwaffe Major Bentz in its episode 28 called Day of Reckoning for its season Two in the series Twelve O’Clock High. This was loosely based on a classic of 1949 war film that used the same name.
