Despite the fact that Erik King does not have that big of a repertoire in terms of movies and TV shows he has appeared in, there were a few that are memorable. His portrayal of Moses Deyell in Oz was one of the highlights of his career. King also had roles in Malcolm In The Middle as well as CSI: Miami.

In terms of his movie career, Erik King starred in Barbet Schroeder's thriller Desperate Measures with high-caliber actors like Michael Keaton and Andy Garcia. The actor also had an appearance in the Box Office hit National Treasure which was directed by Jon Turteltaub. Starring in the movie were Nicolas Cage, Diane Kruger, and Sean Bean. It brought almost 360 million dollars worldwide.

But King's most famous role was on the television. Showtime's Dexter was without a doubt his greatest achievement in his acting career. He appeared in 24 episodes as detective James Doakes. He was the main villain of the first two seasons of the series and is known the best for this role.

Erik was also hired by Michelin tires as their spokesperson.
