She attended the University of Southern California (USC), where she earned a degree in Communication and Journalism. While at USC, Coscarelli was actively involved with the campus media, serving as a member of Annenberg TV News and the student-run radio station, KSCR-AM. These early experiences laid the foundation for her future career in sports broadcasting.

Broadcasting Career and NFL Network

Erin Coscarelli began her professional career as a sideline reporter, contributing to several major sports networks, including NBC Sports Network, Fox Sports West, and the Pac-12 Network. She gained further experience at ESPN, where she covered high-profile events such as the Summer X Games and the World Series of Poker.

In May 2013, Coscarelli joined Comcast SportsNet Bay Area (now NBC Sports Bay Area), where she worked as a reporter and anchor. During her time there, she covered prominent professional teams like the San Francisco Giants (MLB), the San Francisco 49ers (NFL), and the Golden State Warriors (NBA).

In 2014, she transitioned to NFL Network. She became a weekday morning host of "NFL AM," the network’s flagship morning show, co-hosting alongside Rhett Lewis. Coscarelli's engaging on-camera presence and in-depth knowledge of the sport have made her a respected figure in sports journalism and a recognizable face to NFL fans across the country.
