Frank de Boer was born on 15 May 1970 in the Netherlands. His father, Kee de Boer, was a former footballer, and his mother’s name is Git de Boer. He has a twin brother, Ronald de Boer, who also pursued a professional football career. Frank spent his childhood in the Netherlands, where he also received his education.
Frank began his professional football career with Ajax, one of the most successful clubs in the Netherlands. He played a pivotal role in Ajax's triumphs, including their victory in the UEFA Cup in 1992 and the UEFA Champions League in 1995.
