Gemma Atkinson is an English actress and former glamour model, born on November 16, 1984, in Bury, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. She grew up in Greater Manchester and attended Castlebrook High School in her hometown, where she completed her GCSEs.
Atkinson gained national recognition for her role as Lisa Hunter on the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. Her portrayal of the troubled teenager made her a well-known face in British television. Following the success of the main series, she reprised her role in the spin-off Hollyoaks: Let Loose, which aired on E4 and followed Lisa's storyline beyond the original series.
