Greg was born in 1962 to Hugh Curttwell and Geraldine McEwans. His mother is a famous actress. His father was a former principle of an academy for dramatic arts. He has a sister named Claudia. When it comes to his personal life, there is very little that is known to public. He is not a single man. He is married but his wife’s name is not known to public. Her picture is not revealed in any media. There are no details about his children. He was not known to have any extramarital affairs. He had never been in any celebrity relationship. Career

Greg graduated from London Academy of Music and Dance. He took up writing and directing as his main focus. He took part in more than 20 different theatre productions that took place in various parts of England. He won Fringe First Award in 1990 in Edinburgh Festival for writing the play, Waiting for Sir Larry.

His first film debut was Naked who was released in 1993. After Naked, he took up a lot of main roles in interesting movies like 2 Days in the Valley, George of the Jungle and others. George of the Jungle was his last acting gig. He was also seen in many TV series like Murder Most Horrid, Birds of a Feather and others. He also guest starred in a lot of British and American series. He has stated that he has retired from his acting career.

The first movie that he wrote and directed was Chunky Monkey. It was released in UK alone. In 2002, he started Head Gear films along with Compton Ross and Phil Hunt. They also started a film finance and sales company named Bankside Films. He also started Balham Blazers Football club which was voted as the South East England Standard Community Club of the year in 2011. His laurels in football did not end here. The very next year, he received FA Award for his contribution to the sport in the community.
