Greg graduated from London Academy of Music and Dance. He took up writing and directing as his main focus. He took part in more than 20 different theatre productions that took place in various parts of England. He won Fringe First Award in 1990 in Edinburgh Festival for writing the play, Waiting for Sir Larry.
His first film debut was Naked who was released in 1993. After Naked, he took up a lot of main roles in interesting movies like 2 Days in the Valley, George of the Jungle and others. The first movie that he wrote and directed was Chunky Monkey. It was released in UK alone. In 2002, he started Head Gear films along with Compton Ross and Phil Hunt. They also started a film finance and sales company named Bankside Films. He also started Balham Blazers Football club which was voted as the South East England Standard Community Club of the year in 2011. His laurels in football did not end here.
