She regularly hosts corporate events and awards ceremonies and is involved with several Football in the Community projects. She is the daughter of Gordon McQueen, the former Leeds United, Manchester United, and Scotland football player.
She has lived in Scotland, Hong Kong, and ultimately North Yorkshire where she settled in 1994. She has a bachelor of arts degree in public relations and journalism. While in college she specialized in Broadcast Journalism and Media Law.
