Early Life and Education
Heidi Watney was born in 1981 and attended Clovis West High School in Fresno, California. During her time there, she was a well-rounded student and athlete, actively participating in cheerleading, gymnastics, diving, and hurdle events. A high achiever academically, she was recognized as a National Merit Scholar. Watney went on to attend the University of San Diego, graduating with honors in 2003 with a degree in communications.
