Hollie Strano is an American meteorologist who works for WKYC-TV in Cleveland, Ohio. Hollie Strano is well known throughout Cleveland and is also the co-host for Channel 3 News Today which airs in Cleveland on weekdays from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. Hollie Strano also hosts Live on Lakeside, a ninety minute show that airs on WKYC-TV Mondays through Thursdays from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The show includes special segments that allow sponsors the opportunity to pitch products in a more personalized way and includes a segment entitled Hollie’s Inspirational Corner. Hollie Strano was born on December 3, 1972, in Lyndhurst, Ohio.
Hollie attended a Catholic high school, the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School, in Chardon, Ohio. Hollie went on to attend John Carroll University and graduated with a degree in meteorology. Hollie received her National Weather Association Seal from Mississippi State University. In 2005, Hollie Strano was included in Cleveland Magazine’s list of Cleveland’s Most Interesting People. Hollie Strano married her high school sweetheart, Brian Toohig, and the couple has two children, Jessica, and Grady, together but the marriage did not last. After her divorce from Toohig in 2011, Hollie married Florida native Alex Giangreco. She announced her second divorce in May of 2017.
