Holly moved to England in the year 2001 and thereafter to Los Angeles, for pursuing her showbiz dreams. The 1999 cast of Australian TV series ‘Neighbors,’ included Candy as ‘Felicity Scully.’ She was able to make impact with this role which she continued to play till 2002. Leaving the show was her own decision, because she wanted to establish her career in the music industry. In the year 2002 Holly released her very first single, ‘Kiss Kiss;’ the kiss kiss mp3 went on to be a chartbuster and topped both Australian and UK singles chart. The video of the song, in which the singer performed topless, attracted paparazzi of all sorts. It later, bagged four nominations in the ARIA Music Awards. Her other singles and songs of the first album also garnered sufficient amount of well to do response and entered the charts.  Soon she saw her decline in the music industry when her second album could not even reach a significant amount of sales, and after parting with the recording company, Holly during an interview, expressed her loss of interest in music. However, the year 2005 saw her singing in ‘The Handler,’ an album of Har Mar Superstar.

Valance, in the year 2004, geared up for her stint in acting. She caught up with the episode in famous television series ‘CSI: NY,’ ‘CSI: Miami’ and ‘Entourage.’  The thriller , blockbuster Television Series ‘Prison Break’ gave Valance the recurring Guest role of Nika Volek.

Holly has been a part of a few but enticing movies, these include the scintillating role of ‘Christie’ in the action packed movie ‘DOA: Dead or Alive’ and ‘Sheerah’ in the Liam Neeson fame, 2008 movie ‘Taken.’ Valence  also gave performance on television series  like Shark, Moonlight, Valentine, Miss Marple etc.

In the year 2003, Holly landed in to legal troubles when she fired her manager, whose  15months contract was due to expire. Valance alleged her manager Scott Michelson to be negligent in his work and handling affairs. However, the court found holly guilty on legal terms and ordered her to pay a sum of $3.5 hundred thousand to Scott.  The whooping sum was paid in the form of shares from the London Stock Exchange.

The year 2012, brought marriage on the cards for Holly and she wed Nick Candy on September 29, 2012. Her husband is a Property developer in Beverly Hills, California.

Although she couldn’t make big in the entertainment industry and returned to Great Britain after 7 years of work in Los Angeles, she still has a sufficient fan following. For her fans, she keeps on actively posting photographs over Instagram.
