Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is a Canadian actress, disc jockey, singer, and television personality who was born on April 17, 1987, in Windsor, Canada. She is the daughter of Alexandra MacInnes and James C. Wood and is of indigenous, Scottish, French, and Brazilian descent. Wood has a half-sister named Dani Probert who is known for marrying NHL star Bob Probert. Wood began acting at a young age and appeared in a commercial for First Choice Haircutters. By the time she was 18, she had already made the decision to move to Toronto where she could better pursue her acting career. She was soon cast in the American CBS Daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.

In 2012, Woods was nominated for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Steffy. She went on to star in the film Final Destination 5 in 2011 and has also worked as a disc jockey and singer. She released her debut single "After Hours" in January of 2012. Wood is also an activist who is dedicated to helping dog shelters and spread the message of the pet owner's responsibility. She married Elan Ruspol in 2018 and the same year announced she was expecting her first child in October of 2018.
