Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is a Canadian actress, television host, singer, and disc jockey. Born in Ontario, Canada, she is of diverse ancestry, including Scottish, Native American, Brazilian, and French heritage. Her mother is Sandy Wood. Wood’s half-sister, Dani Probert, was married to the late NHL player Bob Probert.
Passionate about the performing arts from an early age, Wood took acting classes at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University), the Armstrong Acting Studios, and the Centre for the Arts. At age 18, she moved to Toronto to pursue a full-time career in acting.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is best known for her role as Steffy Forrester on the long-running CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.
