Career
In the Iran–Contra affair, Toobin served as an associate counsel in the Department of Justice.
During the 1990s, Toobin decided to make a career change and moved on from the court of law to the world of writing.
Toobin is the author of many books including one on the famous and controversial O. J. Simpson murder case. The book was later adapted as a TV drama series called The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story. In 2016, the first season of FX American Crime Story was put on air. After the conclusion of the show, it won numerous Emmy Awards and was praised for its portrayal of the murder trial.
