Jesse Ventura is a well known American media personality. He is a retired professional wrestler, actor, author, and former Governor of Minnesota (1999-2003.) He served with the U.S. Navy Underwater Demolition Team during the Vietnam War and took up professional wrestling in 1975 after leaving the military. From 1975 to 1986 he was known as Jesse "The Body" Ventura with the World Wresting Federation (WWF).
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004. He has also appeared in films such as Predator (1987) and Running Man (1987.) He first entered politics in 1991 and in 1998 became the highest elected official to ever win an electon on a Reform Party ticket. He currently is registered under the Green Party and has considered running from President. He currently hosts a variety news show on RT America called The World According to Jesse.
