Joakim Noah, a professional basketball player best known for his career with the Chicago Bulls, was born on February 25, 1985, in New York City, USA. He holds American, Swedish, and French nationalities. Noah is the son of Yannick Noah, a former professional tennis player who won the French Open in 1983, and Cécilia Rodhe, a former supermodel and Miss Sweden 1978. His grandfather, Zacharie Noah, was a professional soccer player in Cameroon. Growing up in an athletic family fostered his early interest in sports, ultimately leading him to pursue a career in basketball.

Education and Early Basketball Career
Noah began his high school education at the United Nations International School in New York before transferring to Lawrenceville School in New Jersey and later to Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn. At each of these schools, he played basketball and began to draw attention for his athletic performance. His talent earned him an athletic scholarship to the University of Florida, where he played for the Florida Gators under coach Billy Donovan.
During his college career, Noah played both forward and center positions. He played a significant role in leading the Gators to two consecutive NCAA championships in 2006 and 2007. He received numerous honors during his time at Florida, including Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Tournament in 2006. His strong college performance established him as a standout prospect for the NBA.
