Following his music career, Fatone pursued acting and television hosting. In 2001, he appeared in the romantic comedy On the Line alongside Lance Bass. He also guest-starred with his *NSYNC bandmates on an episode of The Simpsons.

Fatone went on to act in several films, including a notable role in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and its sequel, as well as an appearance in The Cooler.
