John Stossel

John Frank Stossel was born March 6th 1947, in Chicago Heights, Illinois United States. He's an author columnist, reporter and TV presenter. He has an elder brother which he brands as the superstar of the family. He went to New Trier High School and Princeton University where he graduated with a B.A in psychology in 1969. He said while he was in college he would describe himself as "indifferent"

He's the host of the show on Fox television titled Stossel, the show was first broadcasted on 2009, he's also a columnist, he writes on the Fox News blog John Stossel's Take.

John is also a journalist, he began his journalism career when he started of as a researcher for KGW-TV which is situated in the New York.

All through his career, he has won so many awards, including a total of 19 Emmy Awards.

He's married to his partner Ellen Abrams, as they both have two children, Max and Lauren. He resides in New York city, but also has a house in Massachusetts.

He's a Jewish by religion as well as his wife, his brother who he regarded as the superstar of the family is currently a professor in Harvard Medical School. His nephew is a popular Journalist and Magazine editor.

He has a net worth of about $4 million, he's also a regular user of twitter and seem to have a lot of followers, he's a very social person as such he uses his twitter account regularly. He doesn't seem to upload much pictures on his Instagram account.

Career

He started of his career when he started working at KGW-TV, which is situated in Portland. His intentions at first was to work at Seattle Magazine, but failed to work there because at the time he wanted to apply, the magazine went out of business.

He then started of as a reporter for the TV, after he became a frequent writer, he had problems presenting at first because, he was a stutter from childhood, but he later became used to being a broadcaster.

In 1981 he was hired by Roone Arledge to work in ABC news, he worked as a correspondent, it featured segment like Give Me a break Even Talk, Bailouts and Bull and so on.

In September of 2009 he left ABC and joined Fox news and business channel, he appeared in The O'Reilly Factor which was aired every Tuesday, he also featured on other programs on Fox news.

He anchors a program Stossel, which is aired through the Fox network. He has also featured in a few movies.

Publications

All through his career as an author he has written a total of three books, his first publication was titled Give Me a Break, and other like I Exposed Hucksters, Scam artist and Cheat followed.

He's books are Liberal, he had a publication titled Liberal Media in 2005, it was an autobiography and was a New York Times bestseller for a period of about 11 weeks.

In 2011 he wrote a weekly newspaper column for creators Syndicate. His other articles has appeared in publications like Reason, Newsmax and Townhall.
