Jonathan Hildred Wall was born on September 6th 1990. John Wall is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina. He spent his childhood in poverty. His mother Frances Pulley worked multiple jobs to put food on the table. His father John Wall was a convicted felon. John Wall lost his father at the tender age of 9. The death of his father led him to take a path of violence and reject the authority of the elderly. He was constantly rejected by the basketball authorities not because of his talent but due to his rude and violent behaviour. Over the years John Wall has changed himself to become the rising basketball star.
High school and college years
Wall attended Garner Magnet High school in Garner North Carolina. After playing basketball for two years at Garner high, Wall moved to Raleigh and got enrolled at Needham Broughton High School. Despite an impressive performance Wall was not included in the Broughton basketball team due to attitude issues. Wall once again changed his High school to word of god Christian academy. Here he started working on his attitude related issues with the help of Coach Levi Beckwith.
Walls led the word of god basketball team to the finals of the class oneA state championship of North Carolina. Wall’s team was defeated 56-53 by United Faith Christian Academy. Wall managed to score 11 points in the game. By his senior year, Wall had grown to a mammoth height of 6 feet 4 inches. He had exceptional skills at penetrating and was selfless in the court.
Wall got enrolled at the University of Kentucky in 2009. In his debut against Miami University Wall made the winning shot with only less than 1 second remaining on the clock. Wall broke the previous record of Travis Ford for single assist with 16 and only 1 turnover.
NBA career
John was recruited by the Washington wizards in 2010 NBA draft. He was the first overall pick by the Wizards. He made an impact in his very first tight regular game against Miami. Wall made his NBA debut against Orlando Magic in which his team lost 112-83. Wall managed to score 14 points. Wall created another record in his third game for being only the second player in the NBA history to get 9 or more assists in each of the first three games.
In the 2011-2012 seasons Wall played and started in all the games of Wizards. Wall suffered a knee injury at the start of the 2012-13 season and was forced to miss the beginning matches of the season. Wall returned to the court against Atlanta Hawks. His performance was met with a standing ovation by the crowd. He scored his career high 47 points against Memphis Grizzles. In 2013 Wall signed an extended contract of $80 million with the Wizards for 5 years. On February 27th 2014, with the help of Wall’s 31 points Wizards won a triple overtime game against Raptors. It was the first triple overtime game win for the Wizards since 1975. in 2015 Wall recorded career high 17 assists against win over the Bolton Celtics. In July 2014 Wall was selected to the U.S national team to compete in the 2014 FIBA world cup

John wall is actively involved in community services involving children. He once surprised 200 kids with a secret autograph signing ceremony.
