Edgar José Ron Vázquez, professionally known as José Ron, was born on August 8, 1981, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Standing 5’10” tall, he grew up with his three brothers in Guadalajara. His father was an engineer, and José began exploring acting from a young age, eventually shaping it into a successful career in Mexican television.

Television Career

José Ron is best known for his extensive work in Mexican soap operas, also called telenovelas. He gained widespread recognition with his first major role in the 2004 television series Mujer de Madera. His consistent appearances and noteworthy performances have made him a familiar face in the genre.

Some of his prominent roles include appearances in the following telenovelas: Rebelde (2006), Código Postal (2006), Muchachitas Como Tú (2007), Juro Que Te Amo (2008), Cuando Me Enamoro (2010), La Que No Podía Amar (2011), La Mujer del Vendaval (2012), and Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse (2014).

While primarily recognized for his television work, Ron has also participated in theater productions, showcasing his range and dedication to the craft of acting. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside respected industry names, including África Zavala, Edith González, and Ariadne Díaz.
