Stage and Screen Career

Siravo began his acting career on stage, gaining attention in the early 1990s through various theatrical productions. His breakthrough film role came in 1993 when he portrayed the antagonist Vincent "Vinnie" Taglialucci in Carlito’s Way. This performance marked the beginning of a diverse screen career.

Theater: Jersey Boys and Broadway Legacy

Joseph Siravo had a celebrated stage presence, performing in over a thousand theatrical productions throughout his career. One of his most beloved stage roles was portraying Angelo "Gyp" DeCarlo in the first national tour of Jersey Boys. His Broadway credits include performances in The Boys from Syracuse, The Light in the Piazza, and Conversations with My Father. Off-Broadway, he earned acclaim for roles in productions such as My Night with Reg, Gemini, and Mad Forest.

Voice Work and Producing

In addition to acting, Siravo contributed to various projects as a voice artist and producer. He voiced the character Carmine in Disney’s animated feature The Wild. Demonstrating his multifaceted talent, he produced and starred in the independent film Things That Hang from Trees, for which he won recognition at the Accolade Competition in 2007.

Siravo also lent his voice to several audio projects, including taped readings of Danielle Steel's The House on Hope Street, The Kiss, and Johnny Angel, completed between 2000 and 2003. His commitment to storytelling extended across various mediums, showcasing the range and dedication that defined his professional life.
