Julius Erving

Even though Erving was an early pioneer that helped usher in the modern era of the NBA, he still had mentors that he looked up. His hero was the Boston Celtic legend, Bill Russell. Bill is known for having the most championship rings. While Michael Jordan is considered to be the best basketball player ever in many schools. Bill is the undisputed champion because of multiple championships. Some people argue that Bill played in an inferior era than Michael but no one will ever win the argument because both great players played at different times.

I was walking through an airport with one of my teammates, and Ali had 20 people with him, and he came over to me and whispered in my ear, “You know what? You’re doing it right.
