Katia is a Brazilian who moved to Britain in 1990. She married Roger Humphrey of England. She divorced Roger very soon after her daughter was born. After leaving her husband, she decided to move back to Brazil. Katia raised Kaya by her own and also gave her Italian surname to her daughter. Her ex-husband died in 2010.
