Karen Denise Aubert was born on December 6, 1978, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is African-American and of Louisiana Creole descent. She spent her childhood days in Los Angeles, California. As a kid, she was a tomboy, but was always fascinated with acting and had a keen interest in it. She completed her college graduation at San Diego State University where she actively participated in all the school plays and was even a part of the college's Aztec softball team.

Career and Net Worth

K.D. Aubert's promising modeling career started in 2001 when she was spotted behind the counter, working at a local Macy’s location. She started working as a runway model with the LA Models firm and went on to many fashion shows overseas. She was finally able to work her way up to print modeling and was able to work with some top names of the industry like Victoria’s Secret, Escada, Frederick’s of Hollywood, and Noxzema. She became the Strawberry Fanta of the Fantanas, which is the group of female spoke models who are assigned to advertise Fanta, a soft drink. After this, she appeared in many commercials which include Miller Lite, Cola, Old Spice, Barcadi, and Go Daddy.

The commercials and her modeling career helped her enter the television and film industry. She was cast as the host of the MTV show Kidnapped in 2002. She was then cast in the movie The Scorpion King as Harlot in 2002 and the same year she portrayed the role of Donna in the comedy movie Friday After Next. She went on to do several movies which include Hollywood Homicide in 2003 where she was cast as Shauntelle, Soul plane in 2004 as Giselle, Frankenfish in 2004 as Eliza, In the Mix in 2005 as Cherise, and Def Jam: Icon in 2007 as Platinum. Her latest movies include Lap Dance in 2014 where she was cast as Jade Lee and Turning Point in 2012 where she played the role of Stacey. She has also done television series like Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 2003 where she played Nikki Wood.

Aubert was the recipient of Africa’s Oscar Award for the role of Stacey in Turning Point.

Marriage, Husband, and Kids

Aubert got married to David Carter on March 24, 2006. They have two sons named David Jr. and Isaiah. They also have two daughters named Ashely and Natalia.

Hobbies

Aubert also goes to a worship center ‘Agape’. In her spare time, she likes to play golf and tennis. She also loves traveling and fishing, and she enjoys the flavor of exotic food. She is also known to write songs. She likes to keep a long, curly, and natural hairstyle but often experiments with her look.

She also works closely with the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation, California, and Urban Born Out, Los Angeles.
