Keir Gilchrist is known as an English-born Canadian actor. Gilchrist is most famous for playing Marshall Gregson on Showtime's unique series United States of Tara.

Career

Keir David Peters Gilchrist was born on September 28, 1992 in Camden Town, London, United Kingdom. He is the brother of fellow actor, Evan Gilchrist. He got most of his education done in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He has Scottish, English, and Northern Irish ancestry in his family line. On his mom's side, he is the grandson of a market analyst and Scarborough East MP Douglas Dennison Peters. His uncle is the famous financial expert known as David Wilfrid Peters.

Besides his well-known role on the United States of Tara, Keir is also famous for playing Craig Gilner in the 2010 parody dramatization film It's Kind of a Funny Story, Paul in It Follows, and Sam Gardner in the Netflix series Atypical.

He also appeared in Dark Summer (2015), and The Good Neighbor (2016), alongside James Caan. The film that put him on the map was called The Right Way (2004) (2004) when he played the youthful version of one the lead characters of the film.

Keir won Best Actor at the 2013 Williamsburg Independent Film Festival for his role in "Nauseous Sailor".
