Early Life and College Football Career

Kordell Stewart was born on October 16, 1972, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He rose to prominence as a standout quarterback for the University of Colorado, where he played from 1991 to 1994. Stewart is best remembered for the iconic "Hail Mary" pass that led Colorado to a dramatic 27–26 victory over the University of Michigan in 1994—a play now famously referred to as “The Miracle at Michigan.”

Versatility and NFL Career

Stewart earned the nickname “Slash” from Pittsburgh Steelers broadcaster Myron Cope, due to his unique ability to play multiple positions, including quarterback, wide receiver, and running back. This versatility made him a valuable asset in the NFL, where he primarily played for the Pittsburgh Steelers but also had stints with the Chicago Bears and the Baltimore Ravens. Personal Life and Marriage to Porsha Williams

While Stewart experienced professional success on the field, his personal life was marked by challenges. He married Porsha Williams, a reality television star known for her role on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," on May 21, 2011. However, their marriage was short-lived. Stewart filed for divorce in March 2013, citing the marriage as "irretrievably broken."

The divorce was finalized in 2014. As part of the settlement, Stewart retained full ownership of his assets and was not required to pay alimony. Williams later described the divorce as one of the most traumatic experiences of her life, emphasizing her desire to regain emotional stability and avoid a life filled with stress.
