Early Dance Training and Competitions

From a young age, Lacey trained extensively in dance. At just seven years old, she danced at the U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships in 1995. By age ten, she had already won the Young America Division. Her early achievements helped establish her as a recognized figure in the American professional dance scene.

Throughout her youth, Lacey competed in numerous dance competitions, specializing in swing and Latin styles. She has placed highly in many of these contests, including the U.S. National Youth Latin Championship and multiple U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships throughout the early 2000s.

Career Breakthrough and Television Appearances

Lacey began her professional career in 2003, dancing in partnership with Jared Murillo. Her national breakthrough came in 2007 when she competed in Season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance. Paired with Kameron Bink, she impressed judges and audiences alike with her adaptability and stage presence, ultimately reaching the Top 4 finalists of the season.

In 2008, she joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars, appearing in Seasons 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13. In Season 8, partnered with Lance Bass of *NSYNC, she secured third place. Her other dance partners on the show included notable figures such as actor Mark Dacascos and reality star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. Her performances were regularly praised for their technical skill and creativity.
