Lindsay Wagner is an American film and Television actress, model, author, and adjunct professor who was born on June 22, 1949, in Los Angeles, California to Marilyn Louise and William Nowels Wagner. Wagner was seven when her parents divorced and she moved with her mother to the northeast Los Angles neighborhood of Eagle Rock. When her mother remarried, the family moved to Portland, Oregon where Wagner attended David Douglas High School. Upon graduating from high school, Wagner attended the University of Oregon but transferred in her freshman year to Mount Hood Community College.

She began working as a model in Los Angeles and her television debut came when she appeared as a hostess in "Playboy After Dark". She appeared in numerous television shows but her most famous was the role of Jaime Sommers in the series "Six Million Dollar Man". Her best-known character returned as the leading role in the American science-fiction television series "The Bionic Woman" from 1976 to 1978. Wanger has been married and divorced a total of four times. Her first marriage in 1971 was to music publisher Allan Rider. She then married actor Michael Brandon, but when that marriage failed she married again to stuntman Henry Kingi. Yet again, Wagner divorced and married TV producer Lawrence Mortorff in 1990 but this fourth and final marriage also ended in divorce.
