Personal life

Lerman was born in California. His father is a businessman and his mother now works as his manager. He has a sister and a brother. Each of his grandparents is from different country. He is a relative to Evan Lowenstein and Jaron Lowenstein. Most of his family members are in medical profession and Logan tags himself as the black sheep of the family. His family owns Lerman & Sons, a prosthetics and orthotics company since 1915. By nature, he was a quiet and reserved boy. He attended the Beverly Hills high school and took up creative writing at NYU. But, he had to postpone his degree because of lack of attendance.

Early career

He started acting in commercials to do something out of school. He also starred in many big movies like Patriot, Riding in Cars with Boys and others. In 2003, he played the character of Luke Chandler in A Painted House. This gave him a promising entrance to movies and other areas. He was nominated for several awards and won an award for best performance by leading young actor. His next break-through opportunity was The Butterfly Effect as a seven year old boy. Later, he quit acting for a small period of time and then starred in Jack and Bobby. He later got into a lot of acting opportunities that brought him more fame and awards. He also starred in a lot of movies like Number 23, Meet Bill, Gamer and others. His biography has a lot of outstanding movies and numerous nominations with wins.

Present career

The current height of his fame is all because of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. This pulled him into many high roles in important movies like Three Musketeers, Perks of being a Wallflower and others. He recently casted as David Castleman in The Wife and is yet to star in Sidney Hall. He has formed a band with Dean Collins in 2006. He announced that his band is not a serious option now but, it is his biggest passion. He also writes comedic short films and acts them along with his friends. He uploads them on YouTube, under the name of monkeynuts1069. He plays keyboard and guitar in his band, Indigo. He also writes loglines for stories. He said that he aspires to be the head of a studio someday.

Dating life

Logan dated Alexandra Daddario of Percy Jackson series. Later, they ended their relationship and were seen alone for the event of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. He did not comment on any reasons to why he broke his relationship with his former girlfriend. There is no concrete news on whether he is dating now or at least looking for any romantic relationship.
