Maggie Lawson

Margaret ‘Maggie’ Cassidy Lawson is a celebrated American actress born on the 12th of August, 1980, in Louisville, Kentucky.  Maggie Lawson’s parents, Judy Lawson, a homemaker, and Mike Lawson, who worked as a hotel manager, were instrumental to her quick start to life. Early Life and Training

Maggie Lawson started out her early education at a Girls-only school run by the Catholic Church. It was called the Assumption High School, located in Louisville, Kentucky. While at high school, she worked with the Humane Society for quite a long time because of her great love for all kinds of animals. Maggie then attended the University of Louisville, which is in Kentucky also. She started making appearances at a local community theatre and participated in dinner theatre productions at the age of eight. She learned the beauty of competition at an early age when she would play games of softball with her two brothers, Nick and Chris. They also played baseball. With those early life experiences, Maggie could face her world very well prepared.

Career

Maggie started out her career as a journalist. Very passionate about children, she worked tirelessly to make their voices heard. Consequently she was engaged as a youth journalist for the local FOX station, collating news reports on children. In 1996, she starred in a situation comedy ‘Unhappily Ever After’ and her career progressed from there with many TV appearances on series like ‘Fear Itself’ as well as ‘Smallville.’ In 2000, she acted alongside Justin Timberlake in ‘Model Behaviour,’ a Disney Channel movie.

Maggie is a movie fans’ favorite. She has featured in many movies which have made waves tremendously. She featured on ‘Psych’ as Juliet O’Hara, the series for which most people would always remember her for. She also featured on ‘A Date with Diana,’ ‘Back in the Game’, ‘Angel from Hell’, 'Model Behaviour' and 'Hostile Makeover.' These are in addition to shows where she played supporting roles like ‘Two and a Half Men,’ playing the role of Miss McMartin. In 'Psych,' she appeared as Juliet O'Hara in 119 different episodes, from 2006-2014.She played Ms. McMartin in 10 episodes of 'Two and a Half Men,' in 2015. She played Allison in 'Angel From Hell,' in 2016, in all 13 episodes. She played Jen in 'The Ranch,' in 2017, in six episodes.
