Kelly’s Career

Starting off as a gymnast and a cheerleader, Kelly Kelly studied journalism in college and her eyes were on anchoring on TV. Like many stars on the screen, she tried to model which eventually landed her on WWE. Her stardom shot to the roof when WWE rebranded to ECW in 2006, where she changed roles from an introduction girl to an actual wrestler. In 2008, she changed camps and joined the RAW label where she continued as a female wrestler under the same name.

Having grown up as a catholic school girl, born of a Jewish father and a Christian mother, Kelly Kelly has transcended the status quo to become one of the most celebrated divas. She has refused to bow down to intimidation from other female wrestlers, and created a name by thwarting the likes of Natalya, Victoria, and Jillian Hall.

As a wrestler and a divas as well, Kelly was not left behind in all the show business. Her entrance theme song is known as ‘Holla V3’ which still resonates in the head when you hear her name. With lyrics like were independent, roll down, push down, am not afraid it sure is a strong message to an opponent who thinks they can beat this girl down.

Private Life

Kelly’s early relationship was with Andrew Martin who was also a wrestler, but he died prematurely in 2009. She later married Sheldon Souray in 2016. Sheldon is a former star ice hockey player and they show no signs of divorce. They have no children and currently they reside in Malibu, California.

Wins and Loses

Kelly’s life on the ring was characterized by ups and downs. Life on the ring involves forming teams, inviting feuds eliminating opponents, of which Kelly has done quite often. In 2006, they formed a tag team with Knox, but they lost to Sandman and Dreamer.

In 2008, she managed to emerge a winner after she teamed up with Mickie and they happened to eliminate Jillian and Layla duo. In early 2010 she said goodbye she was involved in a serious leg injury, which absolved her of any roles in the ring for a long time. Due to her love for the game, she still continued to appear backstage and also commentate as a guest host for several shows.

Though loved and with a great fan base, Kelly finally took a bow and retired in 2012. Though she did the stint for a short while, Kelly made some good money her net worth being estimated to be around one million USD. She has also featured in some movies and music videos which should make her income increase. She has also featured in a British Soccer show about football.
