Ramirez made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut on September 2, 1993, with the Cleveland Indians. A right-handed batter and thrower, he quickly established himself as one of the league’s premier power hitters. His final MLB appearance took place on April 6, 2011, playing for the Tampa Bay Rays.

Across his MLB career, Ramirez posted a batting average of .312, collected 2,574 hits, and recorded 555 home runs—placing him among baseball’s all-time great hitters.
