Education:

His parents shifted to Australia just after his birth. He got his primary and secondary education at a school in Australia. For his higher studies, he chose to fly back to New Zealand. He joined Te Aute College. He returned back to Australia and joined the New South Wales School. After joining this school, he immediately got called up for the rugby team of the school. Later he left the rugby team as his passion towards dancing was growing. He went on to a University to learn about dance and dramas. After that, he was awarded a scholarship. With the help of this scholarship, he went to Lee Strasberg which is an institute for theaters.

Career Experience:

Manu has to face a lot of trouble in his life. When interviewed, he said that he lost his parents in an accident and went into a coma. His coma lasted for about half a month. He also mentioned that his girlfriend was the one who supported her and brought him back into acting. He found peace in acting.

His first opportunity came through a show dedicated to teens. The acting which he did in Paradise beach made him popular. He went on to act in various dramas. Some of his best performance came in the dramas like Beastmaster, All saints, and others. He also acted in some TV series. He left the TV shows for a while. He then performed under the production of the lover of Lady Chatterley. He played the role of Oliver Mellors. 

After staying away for a while, he got his first opportunity to act in the film Tomoko. In the year 2000, he got more opportunities and acted in Xena. His next acting assignment came in the movie Lantana. In this movie, he got a chance to show his dancing performances. This movie went on be an award winning one.

He got the opportunity to become the host of a show called Going Straight in New Zealand.

He acted in a number of movies and TV shows thereafter. Some of his best-known actings came in the movie The Marine and the latest The Hobbit: An unexpected journey. His best-known performance came from the character of Slade Wilson. He played this role in the TV series known as Arrow. His performance in this series was highly appreciated.

He is a guy with an attractive personality. He has maintained his physique very well and is a regular visitor to the gym. He went on to break the hearts of his female fans and got married to his girlfriend. Karin, his wife is by birth a citizen of Israel.
