Marc Benioff is known as an American entrepreneur, author and humanitarian with a total asset collection of $6.4 billion dollars as of December 2018. He is the organizer, director and co-CEO of Salesforce, an enterprise cloud computing organization.
Marc Russell Benioff was born on September 25, 1964 in San Francisco, CA. Benioff was brought up in a Jewish family and his family was long established in the San Francisco Bay Area. He moved on from Burlingame High School in 1982. Benioff got a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1986, where he was a member from the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
In the year 2000, he built up the "1-1-1 model," where an organization contributes one percent of the product, one percent of value, and one percent of worker hours back to the networks it serves globally. Benioff and his better half, Lynne, have developed their own charity on enhancing state funded training and propelling children’s health through UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, at the University of California, San Francisco.
He is married to Lynne Benioff and has two kids with her. The family lives in San Francisco, California.
