Mark Pellegrino is an American film and television actor who is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Paul Bennett in the dramatic television series Dexter. Mark Ross Pellegrino was born on April 9, 1965, in Los Angeles, California; his father is half Italian and half Russian descent and his maternal grandmother was of Swedish ancestry. In addition to Dexter, Mark has appeared on the television shows NYPD Blue, The X-Files, ER, Knight Rider 2010, Tales from the Crypt, Northern Exposure, Nash Bridges, The Practice, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Unit, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, and Quantico. Mark Pellegrino is an intellectual activist, an Objectivist, and a cofounder of the American Capitalist Party (ACP). He is also a teacher at Playhouse West and participates in a variety of sports including martial arts and kickboxing.
Mark’s film credits include The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Lethal Weapon 3, The Big Lebowski, A Murder of Crows, Mulholland Drive, Capote,The Number 23, and Bad Turn Worse. In 2018, Mark appeared in the film Beirut. He has had a recurring role on Supernatural as Lucifer since 2009. Mark Pellegrino is married to Tracy Aziz since 2008 and is the stepfather of her daughter Tess and son Misha.
