Martina McBride was born on 29 July 1966 in Kansas, USA. Her mother's name is Jeanne Schiff and her father's name is Daryl Schiff. Her parents owned and worked on a dairy farm which supported their living. Her father was a country singer as well and that’s how she got to know it in the first place. She was influenced and coached by her father in the early days.
She started going to a nearby school and would practice for hours after her school. When she was eight years old she formed a band with her friends and started to sing in it. She started to learn to play instruments as well. She at first learned to play keyboard and would then play the shows that her band performed in.

Her later songs The Way That I Am were also in the top ten charts for their good vocal and music. Her music video Independence Day won the award for the best video as it shows a mother burning down the house to fight against abuse. She was even nominated for the Grammy award for the best country musician.
In 1995 she related Wild Angeles which again became very popular and got into the top charts. Her song Safe in the Arms of Love reached the no 1 position on the country charts.
In 1997 Cry on the Shoulder of the Road got her to the top position again and at this point, she became the best country musician in the country. Her next album Emotion was released in 1999 of which the main song I Love You quickly topped the charts of the country music in 1999. In 2003 she read another album called Martina that had the songs like This One’s for the Girls and In My daughter’s Eyes which were female oriented and were liked by most people.
There is not much know about her personal life. She is known to be married to one of her band members in the earlier days. Her husband is John McBride and they married in 1988.
